Led Zeppelin II
Led Zeppelin II war das zweite Album der Band Led Zeppelin. Es wurde von Januar bis August 1969 in London, Los Angeles, New York City und Vancouver aufgenommen und am 22. Oktober 1969 veröffentlicht.
Als eines der bekanntesten Alben von Led Zeppelin war das zweite Album ein Vorreiter des Heavy Metal und inspirierte eine Reihe späterer Vertreter des Rock (z.B. Deep Purple, Van Halen).
Als Single wurde Whole Lotta Love ausgekoppelt, allerdings gegen den Willen der Musiker. Es erreichte in den Billboard Charts Platz 4 im Januar 1970. Living Loving Maid erreichte Platz 65.
