Syrische Lira
Die Syrische Lira (auch syrisches Pfund, arab. الليرة السورية al-līra as-sūriyya) ist offizielles Zahlungsmittel in Syrien. Sie ist gestückelt in:
\Münzen zu 1, 5, 10 und 25 Lira; \Scheine, Banknoten zu 50, 100, 200, 500 und 1000 Lira.
Eine Lira sind 100 Piaster (arab. qirsch, Plural qurūsch), allerdings sind letztere nicht mehr im Gebrauch.

- Oktober 2004: 1 Euro = 64,7 Syrische Lira.
- Februar 2005: 1 Euro = 70,0 Syrische Lira.
