Underoath

Underoath ist eine Screamo / Hardcore Band aus Tampa, FL (USA).
Nach der Gründung 1998 von Sänger Dallas Taylor veröffentlichte die Band 1999 ihr erstes Album. Die damalige Besetzung bestand aus Gitarrist Tim McTague, Schlagzeuger Aaron Gillespie und Keyboarder Christopher Dudley. Ursprünglich spielte die Band Death Metal. Im laufe der Zeit durchmachte sie mehrere Besetzungs- und Stilwechsel und veröffentlicht mit "They're Only Chasing Safety" ein Album, dass sogar Emo Einflüsse besitzt.
